Happy New Year

Sage Systems would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and we look forward to a very exciting year ahead.

Campaign finance year end filing deadlines are quickly approaching for our Federal, State & Municipal clients. Sage Systems will be open late on January 20th and 31st for any and all support questions in relation to filing. The phone lines will be open until 8pm and the 24/7 support email will be fully staffed in case of any last minute filing questions or problems.

With the New Year, we have several new changes that have been implemented into Sage for your convenience:

To make data entry easier, the "Add Donation" in Data Entry Mode under Preferences, now includes "Check #" and "Batch #" fields to speed up the process. Also you can update your data entry preferences in real time without leaving the Search Results page and searching again.

An exact search yield option has been incorporated into Sage. The search will now only display exactly what the user enters if "!" is added at the end of the search input. For example, if you put in "Williams" in the past it included Williamsburg, Williamson, etc. in your search results. Now, if you now want just "Williams" type it in as "Williams!" and hit search.

It is also now possible to save report templates on the "Edit Fields" and "Sort Order" pages, rather than just on the "Main Info" page.

Also, your Report Template may be sorted by ward/precinct with the "Group by Address" features of the template. Campaign walk lists are now tailored to your desired organization.

When you copy reports into another person's queue, the words "Copy of" will now be added to the report title.

Firefox is now also 100% compatible with Sage Systems. Page breaks in Printed Reports will now work when running Report Wizard. Mailing label creation and dynamic text addition is also now linked for Firefox use.
